Welcome to the November 2025 Newsletter From The Vines
Accidents and injuries
If your child has an accident at The Vines, you will need to sign a form to say that you have been informed.
If you have any questions about the injury and how it happened, please make sure you ask a Permanent Staff Member. We have regular casual staff rostered in several of our rooms, and they may not know what happened.
All of our staff are First Aid trained.
Here comes the sun ……
As we enter the summer months, please remember to apply sunblock to your child before or on arrival at The Vines.
Our staff will reapply sunblock during the day in accordance with our Sun Safety Policy.
Also, please provide a named hat for your child to wear at the centre.
Summer holidays are nearly here
Please remember to have your Christmas Holiday forms back by the first week of November.
Upcoming events
Please join us to celebrate the end of the year
Christmas is just around the corner, and we are starting to prepare for the children’s Christmas party, which will be held on Friday, 5 December.
So save the date.
Gumboot Up on Friday, November 7th
Facing mental health challenges can feel like walking through mud every day.
Join us in showing your support by slipping on your gumboots, donating a gold coin, and reminding our rangatahi that with support, they can make it through the mud. Your generosity makes it possible for young people in distress to access mental health support when they need it most.
Supporting mental health in youth through charity by wearing gumboots fosters community, awareness, and meaningful change.
Special Offer: HALF PRICE Fees for Two Months!
We’re excited to offer new families HALF PRICE fees for your first two months of enrollment.
