About Us

More than your average daycare in Auckland

At The Vines Early Learning Centre, we believe early childhood education is more than just teaching kids their ABCs and 123s. It’s about fostering a love of learning, encouraging curiosity and creativity. It’s about helping children develop social, emotional, physical and cognitive skills that will serve them for life.

A great place to grow

Every child is unique, and every child has their own learning style. We provide a wide range of activities that cater to each of our children’s individual needs and interests. Our experienced, qualified team is committed to your child’s development and growth. We work tirelessly to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. We’re here to inspire our little learners to explore, discover, and grow.

Vines connect and support, as does our early education centre

The Vines Early Learning is owned and operated by a local family. We have lived, worked and raised our whānau in the West Auckland community our entire lives. Our emphasis on family and community involvement shines through in all that we do at The Vines.

Mark Bult

Director

Both Nicole and I, along with our girls Lauren and Camryn have spent a large amount of our free time immersed in our community. I have a level 3 NZ Football coaching qualification, so I have spent many hours on the football pitch in and around Waitakere coaching children from 3 years old upwards. I hope to continue my development as a coach and be able to bring some of this experience to the early learning environment.

My background in running various-sized organisations and coaching has given me a real understanding of how valuing your team reflects directly in the level of service you provide. I appreciate how team members have unique qualities and experience. My experience has shown me that when given the right environment and support people can produce outstanding results.

My role is to assist our kaiako to grow and learn and reach their potential, as they do for the tamariki we have the pleasure of caring for. I am here to enable our team to provide our tamariki with an environment that allows them to explore, discover and grow.

Nicole will be our families’ daily connection to our kaiako, tamariki, and their families. Together we aim for The Vines to be a West Auckland daycare that is full of laughter and joy for its Tamariki. We want The Vines to be known as simply the best early education provider in Auckland.

Nicole Bult

Centre Director

As a family, we invest significant volunteer hours into our community, predominately through sport, which plays a very large part in our lives. Our involvement has always been around maintaining effective communication, encouraging a positive team-player environment and growing the community spirit that is at the heart of the people of West Auckland.

My background includes a wide variety of administration roles, and account management at various local businesses. My time at Huapai School as a learning assistant and as a parent attending school camps, sports camps, and cultural and sporting events provided an opportunity to learn and understand the education system and broadly understand the curriculum.

I believe my experience in implementing systems and procedures will be a valuable asset. It will enhance the experience of tamariki and their whanau attending or visiting our West Auckland daycare.

I will form a large part of the connection between kaiako, tamariki, whanau at The Vines Early Learning Centre and our wider community.
