Pink Shirt Day 2026 – Friday, 15 May

On Friday the 16th, we are having a ‘wear something pink day‘.

Pink Shirt Day is about reducing bullying by celebrating diversity in all its forms. At The Vines, we support schools, workplaces, and communities to be safe, supportive, welcoming, and inclusive.

By taking part in Pink Shirt Day at The Vines, you’ll be part of a powerful movement. So, let’s all spread aroha and kindness and end bullying.

On Thursday, 21 May, please wear pink. Together, we can support the women and men who are affected by breast cancer.

We also have wheat packs for sale at reception for $15.00. $10.00 from every pack sold will be donated to the Breast Cancer Foundation.

Te wiki o te reo TuriNew Zealand Sign Language Week (4 – 10 May)

NZSL Week is an opportunity for all New Zealanders to learn, share and raise awareness of NZSL together. It’s an opportunity to recognise our Deaf communities, celebrate Deaf culture and to learn together with friends and whānau.

Pacific Language Weeks 2026

At The Vines, we support Pacific communities and organisations to protect and support Pacific languages and cultures. Language is fundamental to identity, sense of belonging and prosperity in New Zealand.
