Welcome to the February 2025 Newsletter From The Vines
We hope you are all enjoying the summer with your families and friends!
Frequent Absences
Every month, the Ministry of Education requires us to check your children’s absences month.
In order to continue to offer fees subsidised by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry requires us to monitor whether your child is turning up on the times they are booked for in their enrolment agreement.
Your child should be attending the centre regularly on the dates and times in your enrolment agreement. If your child is frequently absent or is turning up for less time than they are actually booked, the Ministry may start requiring you to re-confirm your child’s enrolment.
This is done by signing the enrolment attestation form.
If you could please check your Parent Pocket at the beginning of each month to see one of these forms in your pocket, then you must sign and return the form.
Kai time at The Vines
We have a lot of children with special dietary needs, and we need to know if they will be attending so that we can prepare appropriate options.
Please let us know if your child won’t be with us for the day.
Pick up and drop off
Please also remember to let us know if you are dropping off or picking up early.
